I love fireflies. It's nice to get out and enjoy nature. Happy T13!
fun list. And appropriate for today.Every Sunday after church we feed the ducks at the lake. There is a tree with a hollow with skinks. At this point we have confirmed 4 - since that's how many we've seen at one time.
Adelle,I love fireflies, too. They're so fun.Elise,Yeah, I guess it is appropriate for today. My kids would absolutely love to have found a hollow with skinks. That's like heaven for them.
I lived in a rural area for a long time, and I loved walking past the farm with the "big fat black pig" and his friends, the goats, horses, and sheep. Fed apples to the horses - really nice. In the other direction, I could walk to a horse farm, which was really sweet! The hundred cows behind the house weren't all that lovely, but they had a certain charm, I suppose -- like the day they broke loose and ran around my house, stared through the windows, and knocked down shrubs as the farmer chased them. Your state parks are so different than mine. We get moose, deer, trout, snakes etc.
I'm so not the outdoor type! Unless it's the beach! LOL!*hugs*PaigeMy TT is at http://paigetylertheauthor.blogspot.com/
Now *there's* an idea I'll have to snag for myself, next time I come up short for a Thursday Thirteen...I miss the outdoors, but, alas, I'm not able to enjoy them very much with all my allergies, etc...Yay for the farm rabbits! I love rabbits! :)Happy TT!
You called this a simple list on Romance Divas but I think you sell yourself short. It's so sweet! I really enjoyed this.
Nice to stop and smell the roses sometimes, isn't it?
Sounds like you had a wonderful walk. I would have been terrified by the snakes though. Wishing you a wonderful Thursday.
Sounds like a fun walk! Happy Spring.
Like honest-to-goodness chimpumunks? I think I would freak out. I like nature....from a distance.
I love leisurely long walks, so long as I've had allergy meds, but you can keep the snakes! ;)
Oh how fun!!!! I took mine out to the woods today too.
Would you believe I've never seen a firefly?I live in California and they don't have them here.Happy TT.Janice~
I am too busy dodging mosquitoes to notice most else so I will just admire your list.
