2009 Prism Awards (and one special Nebula winner)

I went to The Gathering, the FF&P RWA chapter's yearly get-together where the Prism contest results are announced. Fantastic. Fun. Inspiring. (I got to wear a dress)
Every story I've ever read from the Prism finalists have been wonderful, so you can read this as a recommendation list. Excellent stuff!
Special congrats and kudos to Catherine Asaro, who not only placed in the Prism with her novella "The Spacetime Pool", but she also won the Nebula novella category with the same story. Wonderful achievement & a first for a Science Fiction Romance author, to hit two major award lists in both Romance and SF/F. What an inspiration to us all!
